Chalet Support
Sometimes our chalet hosts will inevitably become ill or require extra help. It’s your job to be flexible enough to make yourself at home in any kitchen and ensure that the guests receive the same high level of service.

What we’re looking for:
Keen cooks who are willing, helpful and not afraid of hard work. The nature of this job means that you’ll be a chameleon who can quickly adapt to his or her surroundings and be at ease making others welcome and comfortable.

Your responsibility:
You will be expected to assume the role of Chalet Host in the event of illness or injury, so you’ll have to cook meals, clean and host at the same time as finding your way around a strange kitchen. In times when you’re not covering or helping in a chalet, you’ll be supporting other resort staff and managers in their work, so in addition to being a confident cook, you should be prepared for physical tasks and cleaning. In our La Tania chalets, this post carries the specific responsibility for the preparation of children’s high teas. You will report to the Chalet Manager.

Skills and experience:
• You should be a willing person who is able to adapt quickly and cheerfully
• You should be a confident cook; catering experience is advantageous
• You should have held a driving licence for more than two years
• You must hold a valid British/EU passport and National Insurance number
