Ski Guide/Rep This varied role involves helping the Guest Services Manager to take care of our guests in Courchevel, as well as Ski Guiding two days per week and during busy periods. You'll also oversee the smooth-running of our transfers down at the airport on a Sunday.
What we’re looking for: We need a patient and helpful person to assist the Guest Services Manager in looking after our guests during their stay. You'll need to be cheerful and flexible as you could be called on to step seamlessly into the Ski Guide role in busy times, leading guests safely around the mountains. You’ll be a great communicator and your professional experience will mean that you are organised and focused.
Your responsibility: You will be responsible for a number of chalets, aiding our guests with booking restaurants, lessons etc., and helping them with problems such as injuries and insurance. Two days a week - and possibly more during busy times - you will also be required to act as a Ski Guide. On transfer day you will go to the airport to supervise guests’ check-in and arrival. The ad hoc duties are numerous and, as they cannot always be foreseen, can impose on your free time. You will dine twice a week in a chalet (more often if required), helping the hosts with service and clearing away.
Skills and responsibility: • You should be highly motivated, resourceful, organised, caring and patient • A good standard of French and IT skills are essential • You should have at least 20 weeks’ experience on snow • You should have held a full driving licence for more than two years • You must hold a valid British/EU passport
